What is micro-needle radiofrequency?

Radiofrequency treatment is used to slow down the natural aging process and shrink collagen fibers. 

Micro-needle radiofrequency at MAWAWO uses two mechanisms of action:

• I mechanism is based on micropunctures performed by a head equipped with gold-plated, sterile thin needles - inserted into the dermis area. Depending on the area, the needles range from 10 to 81. The puncture mechanism itself triggers the collagen formation process.
• The second mechanism uses electromagnetic radiation (radio wave), which, flowing between the needles, causes a thermal effect - heating the relevant layers of the skin to about 40 - 45 degrees. By heating the tissues - we stimulate their renewal and regenerative processes of the skin. The heat generated causes the collagen fibers to shrink.

Is micro-needle radiofrequency treatment safe?

Micro-needle radiofrequency treatment is a safe procedure, at MAWAWO we perform it on an ARIESEA medical-certified device. For each client, we use disposable, sterile, gold-plated heads equipped with the number of needles specified for the area. 

The micro-needle radiofrequency device is equipped with a function that sucks in the skin during the punctures, which significantly increases the bepiegness of the procedure due to the accuracy in determining the depth of the punctures. During the treatment, we are also able to accurately determine the intensity of tissue heating and the range of radiofrequency.

How many treatments should be performed?

Micro-needle radiofrequency therapy of the face should be carried out in a series consisting of 3 treatments performed every 4-6 weeks, while body therapy includes from 3-6 treatments every 6 weeks. Depending on the condition of the skin, the number of treatments may vary.
