BioRePeel is an Italian acid peel with biostimulative action.
Its action is primarily deep skin revitalization, restoration of skin tone and elasticity, wrinkle reduction, skin tone equalization, reduction of hyperpigmentation, brightening (BioRePeel can be used on various parts of the body, not just the face!), pore shrinking, seboregulation and reduction of excessive seborrhea.
The peeling is biphasic, in the hydrophilic part it contains, among others, stimulating trichloroacetic acid, moisturizing lactobionic acid, seboregulating salicylic acid, vitamins: C and B2, the amino acids glycine, proline, hydroxyproline, arginine, and gamma-aminobutyric acid, which gained its popularity due to its "Botox-like "effect-GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter, thus relieving facial tension and smoothing wrinkles.
The lipophilic phase contains squalene and isopropyl myristate, which are designed to protect the hydrophilic layer from oxidation and stabilize the formulation, as well as improve comfort during treatment.
How long the procedure takes:
Usually the entire procedure takes about 40 minutes.
What does the skin look like after the procedure?
Usually the skin is slightly pinkish, but this is not a rule - some clients react a little more strongly, others practically not at all. The pinking disappears within a few hours.
Within 2-3 days after the treatment you may notice a slight flaky skin and tension, while this does not impede normal functioning.
What to combine the treatment with?
Biostimulating acids are sensationally complementary with micro-needle mesotherapy, which allows them to penetrate deeper and act at the level of the dermis.
You have to reckon with a strong pinching during the treatment and a longer recovery.
- Skin exposure to the sun
- Skin allergies
- Active herpes
- A tendency to scarring
- Condition after a surgical procedure within the exfoliated area (up to 2 months)
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Irritated, damaged skin
- Oral retinoid therapy - up to 6 months after completion of therapy
- Topical retinoids- depending on the duration of use, treatment can be performed within 2-6 weeks after discontinuation
- Self-application of acids (tell your cosmetologist about your care so she can assess the safety of performing the treatment or timing it accordingly)
- Oral, long-term steroid therapy
- Autoimmune diseases (collagenosis, pemphigus)
Avoid sun exposure and use creams with a high SPF50 sunscreen. Also, do not expose the skin to cold weather after the procedure.
Strong skin moisturization, increased hygiene (disposable face towels, clean pillowcase, avoiding face-hugging pets, not touching your face with your phone, etc.) are recommended. It is advisable to give up makeup for at least 2-3 days.
We do not recommend testing new cosmetics during a series of BioRePeel or other acid treatments.
